The modular structure of the electro-acoustic emergency call systems made by simax electronics opens up a large number of variations for the design and implementation of call systems. Regarding functions and costs, systems can be tailored to the demands of the individual customer's application without losing the flexibility for easy and service-friendly extensions in the future. simax electronics' product portfolio includes pre-amplifiers,backup power amplifier management unit, amplifier monitoring with pilot signals, digitally controlled keypads and other digital modules like pilot signal generators, signal surveillance units and digital slave clock drivers with DCF77 connection. Digital audio recorders with a bit-by-bit monitoring of the recorded signals according to DIN EN60849 for customerspecific calls, chime signals, emergency announcements are available as well. The number of wires is minimized by the use of bus circuit boards with standardized connectors. The universal exchangeability of the single modules keep the complete system service-friendly. For the design of new components and the further development of modules, the relevant standards and rules like DIN EN60849/DIN VDE0828, DIN VDE0833-part 4 und DIN EN61000-3-2 (PFC/Power-Factor-Correction) are observed. Being an active working member of the DKE (German commission for the elaboration of standards and safety specifications covering electrical engineering, electronic and information technology within the DIN and VDE), simax electronics is actively involved in the creation of new standards.
